    GENESIS

Established on 4 July 1966, Kendriya Vidyalaya Malleswaram holds the distinction of being the first Civil Sector Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bengaluru. Beginning its humble journey before moving to its present campus in 1971, the Vidyalaya steadily expanded its academic footprint—presenting its first CBSE Class X Board Examination in 1972 and Class XII in 1980. Continuing its upward trajectory, the school introduced the Commerce stream in 2010, launched Shift II in July 2018 to meet growing educational needs, and earned its prestigious selection as a PM SHRI School. In recent years, this journey of continuous progress has been further enriched by pioneering student podcasting initiatives, cutting-edge digital learning, inclusive wellness facilities, green infrastructure, and CSR partnerships, ensuring the institution remains a vibrant center of holistic excellence.
