The Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) activities were successfully held at PM SHRI KV Malleshwaram Shift – II , BENGALURU on July 23, 2024 as part of the “Shiksha Saptah” observed from 22/7/2024 to 28/7/2024 as per KVS circular dated 10 July 2024. The class-wise activities were organized to engage students in fun and interactive learning experiences, focusing on developing their foundational skills.
A Puppet show was organized to develop language skills and creativity through storytelling. Storytelling sessions encouraged language skills, imagination, and listening abilities. Hindi poem recitation and English poem recitation were organized to develop learning of the language with understanding of the students.
Objectives
Fundamental Literacy and Numeracy Day is often aimed at highlighting the importance of basic literacy and numeracy skills, which are crucial for personal development and societal progress. The objectives typically include:
1. Promoting Education: To encourage the development and enhancement of literacy and numeracy programs and resources, especially for those who are struggling.
